Mandala no. 8 - "The Red Thread II"

Mandala no. 8 - "The Red Thread II"

£80.00Price

The concept for this mandala comes from an East Asian belief called “The Red Thread” where an invisible red cord is said to be tied between two people that are destined to meet. The cord can stretch and tangle all over the Earth but will never break.

The pop of red amongst the monochrome detail symbolises how we can go about our day to day lives unaware of the destiny we are slowly fulfilling - but if we were to pull back and take a look at the bigger picture, survey the detail of our lives as a whole, we would see how things happen for a reason and more specifically, how certain people were meant to meet.
